That’s a great tagline, but the bigger question is… Is The Four Percent Group a scam or a legitimate business opportunity?
Hi, I’m John and I’m an online marketer who has built a passive income online whilst working full-time as a safety and compliance manager.
I’ve been online for a few years now and want to help others find the best way to make money online.
The Four Percent Group isn’t new, and I have done a review of it on another blog. So, has the landscape changed at all? Not really, but I’ll give you all the details you need to know in my honest review.
You see, there are so many other reviews out there that are biased reviews of the Four Percent Group. Why? Well, this is because they are affiliates of the platform and trying to make a sale.
This makes it hard to find the truth about Vick Strizheus’ company and training platform.
You can rest assured, I’m not an affiliate of FPG. I just want to give you an objective review so that you can get my opinion of what it has to offer.
You will learn how it works and whether Four Percent Group is a scam or a legit company for starting an online business.
Also, I’ll share some pros and cons to help you make a well-informed decision.
Right, let’s get started with a quick product overview…
Disclaimer: This Four Percent Group review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn from that information are my own opinions.

Quick Summary
The Four Percent Group is an affiliate marketing training program. It provides you information and training to help you start your own affiliate marketing business. But the training is limited in what niche you can decide to go with.
The company has been structured to encourage (make) you promote this training course to others. Now, the make money online niche is a crowded and competitive one and if you’re not interested in it, this training course will end up being an issue for you.
The company isn’t a scam, as some called it out as. But there are elements of it being an MLM-type structure. There are different membership levels, with some being really limited. Meaning you will need to spend big to get the full value of the course. This is where the price becomes an issue, with the top level being $1,000 a month!!
This is something that isn’t fully disclosed upfront. I’ve also heard that people cannot actually sign up for the silver membership at the moment, meaning you are stuck with the gold level which costs you more money.
There is also the hidden additional costs as Vick’s strategy focuses on paid ads and there are also 3rd party tools that you’ll need as well.
There are also a few skeleton’s in Vick’s background that does make us question his motives. Especially as you’ll only really make this work if you choose to promote the Four Percent Group to others.
If you want to choose your own niche based on your own passion or hobby. Which will have a much better chance of success, then you will want to check out our top recommended training program instead… (Click the button below to learn more)

What is Four Percent Group?
The Four Percent Group is a training platform that teaches you how to start your own affiliate marketing business. The program emphasises a focus on empowering people to create passive income through affiliate marketing and sales funnels.
The company’s vision is to create the world’s biggest and most trusted central hub for entrepreneurs; to build a place where entrepreneurs and business owners would come to get inspired and find the best training, tools, and resources that will help them become great.
Why the name Four Percent Group?
Well, this is a play on the fact that not everyone has what it takes to become successful online. Too many people give up too soon or don’t put enough time and effort into building their business the right way.
This means that, according to Vick, only 4% of people will succeed. Whether you are going to be included in that statistic is up to you…

The Four Percent Group’s goal is to show you how to get access to (buy) various internet marketing tools, use them to build your own business, and then earn an income by promoting these tools.
In other words, the main idea behind this program is to teach you how to promote ClickFunnels and some other online marketing tools via sales funnels to earn commissions.
When you think about it, this is a legitimate way to make money online.
But they do offer an alternative, which is to sign up for their affiliate program and promote Four Percent Group to others in return for a commission.
Some would describe this as a scam, but that isn’t the case. Most legitimate affiliate marketing training providers offer an affiliate program.
Wealthy Affiliate, Affiliate Lab, and ClickFunnels, all offer an affiliate program to help grow their business.
But the key difference I see between, let’s say Wealthy Affiliate and the Four Percent Group is that you are limited on what you can promote at FPG.
You can choose to promote the tools they recommend or their training program.
But if you wanted to choose a niche involving something you enjoy, like a hobby or a passion. Then you won’t get that kind of training at the Four Percent Group. But you would at Wealthy Affiliate or Affiliate Lab.
These would help you choose whichever niche you wanted. Or you could create a blog to promote their training platforms. You have more choice in these alternatives.
But just because FPG is limited, that doesn’t make it a scam.
Many marketers have found success by promoting FPG…
I didn’t find anything untoward with the Four Percent Group. No major red flags that would lead to me describing it as a scam.
However, there are some issues with the platform that I will point out to you in my review. This includes some red flags about the founder of Four Percent Group, Vick Strizheus. He has a few issues that need addressing when you make your final decision.

Who's Behind Four Percent Group?
The founder of Four Percent Group is an online marketer called Vick Strizheus. The big issue with Four Percent Group is that there a few issues with Vick’s past that call into question the validity of FPG.
Vick Strizheus – A Short (Shady) History
If you take the time to do some research on Vick Strizheus, you will find a few red flags…

Convicted of Insurance Fraud
Apparently, one of Vick’s first jobs was working for an insurance company, and he was convicted of submitting fake policies to earn more commissions. Some sources say Vick spent time in prison because of this.
Heavily Involved in MLM (Multi-Level Marketing)
Vick was one of the leading promoters of an MLM company called Empower Network. But this company eventually went bankrupt. MLMs are well known for making their founders and early promoters rich, at the expense of everyone else involved.
Vick was also a part of a project called Big Idea Mastermind where he funnelled members to MOBE, which is a scam shut down by the FTC!
Indeed, Vick still seems to be a big advocate of the MLM business model.
During his affiliate marketing webinar, he names “network marketing companies” – another term for MLM companies – as his #2 source of products to promote…
There’s even a premium course within Four Percent showing students how to promote 7K Metals. Which is an MLM company.
There just seems to be a strong MLM vibe throughout the whole Four Percent Group platform.
Vick does claim to have learned his lessons and the Four Percent Group was part of that. To turn a new leaf and start afresh. However, there are too many MLM vibes here. Which is a big concern for me…

How Does Four Percent Group Work?
The Four Percent Group is a series of training programs. One of the most popular programs is the Four Percent Success Challenge. It’s an introductory course where Vick explains affiliate marketing which gently leads you to his affiliate program.
There are other courses too…

- E-Stage
- E-Stage Academy

You can use a bunch of free (and a few paid) courses.
- Traffic Generation Strategies
- SEO Mastery (PAID)
- InstaTraffic Mastery (PAID)

The platform was founded in 2005 and has attracted over 24K members worldwide. Based on their Facebook page, anyway…

Being part of a sizeable community does have its advantages. It means you can network with other like-minded entrepreneurs and get help and guidance when you need it.
On the surface, the platform looks like a legitimate thing, and you can rest assured.
There are no signs of a scam or fraud. The company is legitimate. But as I said earlier in my Four Percent Group review, Vick has a shady history and is not the most trusted guy out there.

Inside Four Percent Group
Once you’ve become a member of the Four Percent Group, you will gain access to the community, training, tools, and resources it has to provide. But this also does depend on your membership level as to how much access you get.

There are seven steps you need to take to start.
- Step 1: New Member Orientation (Details, Strategy, Plan)
- Step 2: Quick Setup & Activating Multiple Streams of Income
- Step 3: Funnel Setup
- Step 4: Power Base Activation
- Step 5: Plant Your Flag
- Step 6: The Miracles of Live Events
- Step 7: Operation $100K
Whilst the titles of the modules look exciting, what it is going to show you is how to get started with affiliate marketing.
They do this by showing you how to promote various digital products (which you will need to buy to enable you to do this) to other people.
An example would be that they show you how to build a sales funnel for both ClickFunnels and Aweber. They also show you how to promote the Four Percent Group to others too.
ClickFunnels is a (legit) funnel builder. Aweber is a (legit) email autoresponder platform. I use Aweber myself. But you will need to be a paying member for both to be able to promote them.
But done correctly, you can also make good money from promoting them both. But know that it is a competitive market too.
But having the right product to promote is half the battle and both of these options are top pieces of software.
Not sure the same can be said for the Four Percent Group. But either way, it is all about teaching you how to create effective sales funnels for these things.
What they teach you about is how to create multiple streams of income, by promoting these different programs.
So, for example, once you create a campaign and manage to get traffic to your offers, you should start earning commissions.
And since you promote not one, but a few products via your marketing funnel, you earn income from multiple streams.
I’m a fan of this concept, however…
One can say that, from a distance, the Four Percent Group looks like a pyramid scheme.
But on the other hand, there’s nothing illegal here since all those products are useful and help to advance in the affiliate marketing business.
Let’s now get into how much the Four Percent Group will cost…

How Much Does Four Percent Group Cost?
The majority of the courses listed above are free to sign up to. But they only really serve as an invitation to join the platform. They give you enough to get you interested. But not enough to do anything with.
Others on the list, come with a price.
There are three different membership levels on offer at Four Percent Group. There is the option to join the basic (free) membership to have a look around.

- BASIC ($0/month) – Very limited access to the platform and courses
- SILVER ($25/month) – Limited functions, for people who want to start small and test the waters
- GOLD ($297/month) – Most popular membership level which includes all the things you need to make money with 4 Percent Group
- PLATINUM ($1,000/month) – For more experienced marketers who are already making money online and want to scale up their business (Private Coaching included)
Please note, I’ve seen several reports that the silver membership is currently unavailable, which points to them pointing you towards the Gold package. But that brings with it a much higher price tag.
But you should also know that there are additional costs to consider if you want to follow their direction.
Are There Any Extra Costs with Four Percent Group?
If you are to follow the training at Four Percent Group, then it will bring additional costs. These are for the tools and resources you need, such as:
- Hosting (BlueHost) – $70 per year
- Domain (Namecheap) – $10 per year
- Autoresponder (GetResponse or Aweber) – $20 per month
- Funnel builder (ClickFunnels) – $97 per month
- LeadPages – $37 per month
- Link tracker (ClickMagic) – $17 per month
- PPC (Udimi) – cost depends on your budget
This isn’t disclosed to you ahead of joining. It’s also a great opportunity for you Vick to make more money as you will join these platforms via his affiliate links within the platform.
I think it’s safe to say that the Four Percent Group program is designed to make them a lot of money, at your expense.
There is the opportunity, of course, for you to earn money promoting them too. But you will need to commit by paying for all of the tools, or at least some, to follow through on this.
Can I get a refund from four percent group?
You can cancel your membership at any time, but no you cannot get a refund. They offer a basic membership for free and a few of the course are free too. But there is no refund policy, as you get instant access to all that is included with the membership.

Can You Make Money with Four Percent Group?
The Four Percent Group is based on affiliate marketing, so the answer is yes. Affiliate Marketing is a fantastic way of earning money from something you love online.
As to whether you can make money with FPG, the answer is also yes. But you have to be willing to operate in the Make Money Online (MMO) scene.
The Four Percent Group marketing model is based on promoting other people’s products via marketing funnels. And this model is proven to work by many marketers out there, including myself.
To become successful in this business, you need to master a few skills. And in my experience, traffic generation is the key to having a successful business.
But if this isn’t your passion, then how can you put your all into it. To make this thing work, you need to work your backside off.
Not everyone has it in them to make it work. Especially in the MMO world. Hence the name (4%).
But after thinking about what I’ve seen with FPG, I would say the real answer is…
Yes, You Can Make Money... If you have money to invest!
This is the main issue. Most beginners are not fully aware or do not understand how much time and effort is required to become successful. It also takes some money to get things going properly.
Now, there are better alternatives that teach people how to do affiliate marketing using free traffic methods (i.e. Wealthy Affiliate or Invincible Marketer).
Free traffic is awesome and can bring long-term success without having to pay for ads consistently. But it also takes longer.
The Four Percent Group does teach a method that will bring traffic to your sales funnels sooner, but it means that you both need a budget… and be willing to take some risks.
The method that they teach is called Solo Ads. This is where you pay people with huge email lists to share your emails in the hope that people buy through your link.
The idea is you spend less than you make so that you can make a profit. But this requires you to have a budget. So, on top of the prices of the products. You need to have more money to be able to pay for these leads.
Without this, you have no way of getting clicks. There is some training about SEO, which is a free traffic generation method. But this will take you much longer
You can see a case study from one of the FPG members…
The problem is that you will struggle to do anything with FPG if you don’t have the money to start with paid advertising. Solo Ads aren’t a reliable traffic source.
I mean it can be if your offer is relevant to your target audience. But there is no guarantee that your emails will even be read, let alone anything else.
You could utilise SEO to try and build up your campaigns. But this will take you longer. What you have to consider with that option is that you will be paying for your memberships and the other tools, whilst you build up your business.
Can you keep on paying for them for a year, whilst you build up your authority?

Who is Four Percent Group For?
There is some value in the content and I don’t want you to get the wrong idea. The Four Percent Group will teach you effective methods regarding affiliate marketing.
However, like with anything to do with affiliate marketing. You will need to be ready to put a lot of time and effort into learning what you need to know. Then putting it into action.
But the big issue I have with this platform is that it is heavily weighted towards getting members to promote the platform. Plus you will be encouraged to use paid ads, sales funnels, and Solo Ads.
This all makes it a much harder path for beginners to get going with, unless you have a huge budget to play with.
I also don’t get the different tiers of training, it’s like an MLM where you have to be paying the higher fee to earn the higher commissions. This could be the case here, but cannot confirm that theory.
If you are really interested in promoting ClickFunnels or Four Percent Group and have a budget. Then this could be a good option for you to consider.
But for me, this isn’t a great program for beginners. It has too many elements hidden from you, for my liking…

Four Percent Group Online Reviews
There are many online reviews about the Four Percent Group. Some of them are good and some of them are bad. But I do have a concern about their positive reviews. As I’ll describe to you shortly…
Positive Online Reviews
If you head to the Trustpilot website, you will find many positive reviews from members of the Four Percent Group. It’s a good sign, as it shows they are legit… However, when you look into more detail about these reviews. You will spot they don’t actually give you the complete picture.

The reason I say this is that at the end of every lesson, members are asked to rate it on TrustPilot. This leads to many reviews being bog-standard comments about the training being great. I’ve included some examples below…

There are very few comments about the reality of what’s going on or whether people are seeing results.
Both of these examples, plus others, show as invited to review. But they are both saying 5 stars but both aren’t sure why.
They are just taking a lesson and asked to review it. The training is good, so naturally, the comment is good. But that doesn’t prove people are making money from what they see.
The number of positive reviews on TrustPilot makes it look like a great platform to join. But if everyone is putting multiple reviews after each lesson saying it’s great. That reduces the number of actual reviews to consider properly.
Negative Online Reviews
As for negative reviews, recent reviews are calling it a scam or a pyramid scheme.
I think there is a lot of focus on self-promotion within the platform. But that doesn’t make it a scam… However, people aren’t clear that it doesn’t offer a refund. Which is called out below…

The bottom one is all around the misleading factors with Four Percent Group.

Is Four Percent Group a Scam?
A few elements give the impression that Four Percent Group is a scam. Or, at least an MLM disguised as an affiliate marketing platform.
But, no I don’t believe Four Percent Group is a scam. They offer free and paid training to help you understand how to start with affiliate marketing.
They focus primarily on self-promotion and other related products. So, if you were hoping to learn how to start a niche site based on a hobby, there are better alternatives.
But that doesn’t make them a scam. But with the misleading information around the real cost of joining FPG. Plus, with the shady past of the owner, Vick Strizheus, I can understand why people are wary of this platform.
The biggest factor for me not recommending it, though, is the fact that it will cost you a lot of money to follow their direction.
Beginners aren’t going to have the money or experience to earn quickly enough to cover the costs. They are also the fact that you will need to pay for higher membership levels to unlock everything it has to offer.
Not a scam, but still not the best option there is…

Four Percent Group: Pros
Despite my reservations, there are a few elements I did like about the Four Percent Group…
Offers Some Training & Community for Free
It used to be a closed community, meaning you had to pay to get access. Which was a big issue, considering the (no) refund policy. But they now have a basic plan that is free to join.
This membership is limited but does give you a chance to make your own decision about the platform before deciding to upgrade to one of the paid plans.
Premium Training Looks Comprehensive
The training within the paid memberships does appear to be comprehensive step-by-step training which gives you a clear path on how to promote their recommended tools, etc.
The Weekly Live Calls with Vick
Being able to learn from the owner himself, is a good sign that this isn’t a scam. He offers his own insights into different elements of online marketing with these calls. Always a bonus to hear it from the person you are learning from.
Active Private Group
They currently have nearly 25K members in their Facebook group. So, this is a great opportunity to network with like-minded individuals. It can also act like a support network too.
Offers a 30-day money-back guarantee
They don’t offer a refund on their subscription-based membership. But they do offer a money-back guarantee on their products… Here are their terms and conditions…
Due to the nature of the Four Percent Group business and the accessibility of our products immediately upon purchase, there is a strict 30-day refund policy, which begins on the date of purchase. This 30 days refund policy is relevant to programs only. Any subscription-based products such as The Four Percent Group Membership, The Four Percent Group Member promotional rates, and Summit and/or event tickets are non-refundable.
Four Percent Group: Cons
Here are the things that I didn’t like about Four Percent Group…
Vick's Shady Past - Too Many Red Flags
I know people can change, but Vick cannot hide away from the things that he’s done in the past. Especially when there are different levels within FPG and there are still issues like hidden costs and making promises he doesn’t keep.
But there are elements like when he was involved with MOBE, he was switching people’s Affiliate IDs to earn more commissions.
This should be something members of FPG should keep in mind…
Claims Affiliate Marketing is an Easy Way to Make Money
Throughout the marketing and information, I’ve checked with the Four Percent Group. It tries to make you believe Affiliate Marketing is easier to achieve than it is.
It requires a lot of time and effort. But as you will be operating in the MMO world, it will be even harder. There is so much competition for you to try and carve your bit of it for yourself. This ends up leading you to paid ads as a shortcut.
But that can also become an expensive mistake…
It's a Pay to Play Affiliate Program
You only become an affiliate if your a paying member. But then you have to buy the different programs to be able to promote them too.
This just becomes another way of Vick earning more money as you join these platforms via his affiliate links.
You should be joining an affiliate program to promote a product you want to. Not one that is forced on you
Hidden Additional Costs That Soon Mount Up
When you factor in all of the additional tools and resources you need to follow their training, the costs soon add up.
You’ll need to outsource hosting, domain, autoresponder, funnel builder, link tracking software, etc.
But the biggest additional cost to consider is for paid advertising.
Four Percent Group Focuses on Paid Ads
They do offer some training on free SEO traffic. But it is mainly geared toward paid ads and solo ads.
FPG tries to convince you it’s the best way for beginners to make money online.
In fact, it is the best way for you to lose money.
When I was starting, I lost $ 1000s on ads because I was convinced by courses like these that PPC is the best way to make money online.
It’s not!
SEO, building your own site, writing your own content, and choosing your own niche is the best way to make money online!
Too Much Like an MLM for my liking
MLMs are notorious for drawing people in to start recruiting new members, rather than focusing on the products.
There are elements of this with the Four Percent Group. You have to pay to become an affiliate. There are multiple levels of membership.
But the main focus appears to be on self-promoting the Four Percent Group to others.
Misleading Ratings & Reviews on Trustpilot
The sales page makes a huge emphasis on their 5 star Trustpilot rating. But this is misleading.
At the end of each lesson, members are encouraged to rate the training. Now, this isn’t a rating that happens in the platform for other members to consider.
They are taken to Trustpilot to give a brief review and rating. It’s clever by Vick.
But it is also very misleading. The comments are typical just about the training and not the overall platform.
Vick Makes Promises (He Doesn't Keep)To Keep You in Past Refund Period
I’ve seen a few claims that Four Percent makes promises to keep you in the training past the refund period, but then fails to follow through.
For example…
“I have lost about $2300 due to four percent and got nothing in return. When I asked for a refund I didn’t get it because the 30 day refund policy was over. Throughout these 30 days we were promised a lot of stuff that never came true and therefore didn’t ask for a refund. We were promised that we would get traffic to our landing page for free which never happened. They switched the affiliate vendor at some point because too many people were applying for credit card refunds.”
Many Negative Reviews About Four Percent Group
I found a lot of mixed opinions online about the Four Percent Group.
It scared me to see so many negative reviews and it was one of the main reasons why I have decided not to follow this platform’s advice.
Most people were complaining about the price and rising costs. For example, you can listen to the testimonials below to gain some insights.
The misleading nature of this platform is what leads many people to think it’s a scam…
Do I Recommend Four Percent Group?
When I take everything into account, there are several good elements about the Four Percent Group. But there are more issues that are a problem with FPG. So, with that in mind I cannot recommend this to you.
The platform is legitimate and will teach (Vick’s version) of affiliate marketing. They also host other programs that help people become independent and overall better entrepreneurs.
But Vick’s past indiscretions are a big concern. He was stealing other people’s commissions.
Not only that but he has a series of terminated courses and programs behind him and was involved with MOBE, a proven scam!
I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, but these facts are hard to swallow.
Then there is the fact that you need to pay to play with their affiliate program. Plus, you’ll need to pay for additional tools that will push your monthly costs through the roof.
With all that in mind, you are better off checking out one of the programs on the list below. These are all platforms I’ve reviewed and would recommend…
Or, you can check out my #1 recommended course that helped me earn a passive income whilst working full-time as a safety and compliance manager… Learn more here!
Four Percent Group Review: Conclusion
Four Percent Group is a training platform that teaches you affiliate marketing. It has several membership levels and seems to be a good option. So, why the low rating?
Well, there are too many issues that stop me from outright recommending this to anyone.
Vick’s shady past aside, there are issues with the hidden costs. There is also a limited topic you can promote. They focus on promoting products from the MMO world, which is a highly competitive market.
Some negative reviews do appear to lift the lid on what is going on here. Which is a concern for me too.
If you’re interested in promoting Four Percent Group to others, then I’m sure they will give you the tips and strategy you need.
But if you are interested in choosing a niche of your own and earning money from something you love, then this will not help you…
