Based on my review, Plexus is not a scam or a pyramid scheme. They offer commissions based on sales made by you and those you register, not just for signing up new members. However, there is another way this MLM operates. As suggested by the company’s name, you can build a downline of salespeople and earn income from their sales activities.
Because of this structure, many people label Plexus as a pyramid scheme.
Can you see why some people are fixated on the idea that MLMs are pyramid schemes? However, as I’ve mentioned in my review, Plexus is entirely legitimate. They use this model to save on advertising costs and provide individuals an opportunity to earn extra income.

How to Make Money with Plexus MLM?
Like all other MLMs, there are two primary ways to make money with Plexus MLM:
- Recruit People – Build a downline of distributors and earn commissions from their sales.
- Sell Products Directly – Sell Plexus products directly to consumers and earn retail commissions.
In my opinion, the former option is where the significant income potential lies. Simply selling products may not be sufficient because you would need to sell a substantial amount to earn a significant income due to the relatively low commission rates (more on this below).

By recruiting new Ambassadors and building a team, you earn commissions based on their sales. This method leverages the efforts of your recruits, allowing you to earn passive income as your downline grows and becomes more productive.
2. Retail Sales
Selling Plexus products directly to consumers earns you a retail commission. This involves more direct effort and sales skills, as you need to market the products effectively and make substantial sales to see significant earnings.

But it doesn’t end there. You also need to pay monthly fees just to remain active with the company. This will cost you $100 monthly, which is necessary to stay part of this network marketing system.
